Mace- Florence Edith Strode, 86, of Rt. 2, Mace, a native of Montgomery County, died in her home at 12:10 p.m. Thursday. Mrs. Strode was a member of the United Brethren Church. Born July 31, 1888, she was a daughter of James and Lucinda Hayes Foster. She married William Hulet Strode in 1904. He died in 1970. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Sparks of Rt. 2, Ladoga and Dorothy and Mary Strode of Mace, and two grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Powers Funeral Home at Crawfordsville with the Rev. Victor Link officiating. Burial will be in Mace K of P Cemetery.
